Screened from Echizen

I just realized that Echizen's birthday is Christmas Eve. I can't help but think that having your birthday on that day must be a little difficult, since it would always be about Christmas and not your birthday. And he grew up in America, where Christmas is more of a big deal....

I thought it would be nice to have a small (surprise) party for him on the 23rd. Unless you're too tired out from Atobe's party, of course. But just something small and more informal.

Mmm, but maybe some others too~ He needs variety as well :D

...what other games are there?

There won't be Inui Juice involved, will there?

....party games. Like twister or some drinking games or something. Tennis isn't everything~

And hell no. Nope. Never. I've never had the misfortune to try it and I never will if things go my way.

If you want a real fun drinking game, make Echizen take a shot every time he mentions tennis. Or his cat. But not both, because alcohol poisoning is not good.

It...was effective. Not all of us believe in corporal punishment.

Oh Tezuka. Why couldn't you have found this sense of humour earlier? And we wouldn't that for the birthday boy. But...you gave me a brilliant idea for later :D

Ah, whatever gets the job done, I suppose. But considering there is no need for any sort of punishment or incentive now, I have no desire to experience it.

I'm glad that I have inspired you.

I'm thinking the best way to get Echizen to attend is to a) tell him it is a "Good luck in Australia" party for those of use going. If you include Miyuki, he may even have doubts that it's really a birthday party. And b) give him the wrong time. Tell him it's from 2pm to 5pm, so he can still spend time with friends and family on his birthday, but may "run late." (That way he won't have to go home to see what his father got him. He'll appreciate that.)

Thank Konomi for that.

:D

And hmm...I'm not sure that he'll believe an excuse like that from me. And I definitely can't advertise it as a birthday party or a christmas party....but maybe as a good luck to Chitose-chan party? That makes more sense than an Australian Open party.

He would also be suspicious if I invite him. After all, I know when his birthday is.

That sounds reasonable. I'll make sure that Miyuki-san is on board.

Thank you, Tezuka. Then I will send him the invite by text.
