Shit....I didn't expect that, at all. My season's been great so far, not including the French Open, because of Echizen. I screwed up. I....don't even know what I did wrong. Fuck, the only way that could have been worse if it had been a straight set loss. At least I managed to pull it out to five sets.
My coach advised me to take a break before the Tokyo tournament...but all I want to do is train even harder. Still, Atobe's invitation to that island gives me the perfect chance, so my agent and my coach double-teamed me and refused to let me decline. Looks like I'll be going after all. I wonder if the rest of Rikkai are coming? It'll be a nice chance to catch up. These have been a busy two months....
I'm just disappointed in myself, really. I could have played better, but I didn't and the reason baffles me.
