Lost at the French Open

Urrgh, lost to Echizen at the Roland Garros Finals. It was a good match though, five and a half hours and we played all five sets. 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 3-6, 5-7, in Echizen's Favour. I've never played so well, not even against Djokovic. I'll beat you at Wimbledon though, Echizen.

Oh, and since I'm back in Japan now, does anyone want to go with me to the classical music concert at Tokyo Kōsei Nenkin Kaikan? I've heard that some amazing worldwide artists are there.

[identity profile] drvroom.livejournal.com 2013-06-12 06:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Yukimura-kun, I would be happy to join you. I'll check and see if Masaharu wants to come along as well.

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-12 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahh, it's been a while, Yagyuu! Yes, do ask him. It'll be nice to see both of you again~!

The concert is in two days time, and I'll cover ticket costs :)

[identity profile] petenshi-niou.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I cin go. We gonna drag Aka-brat 'long too? He needs ta get outta his place more anyways.

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Ahh, that's good! Hmmm, I'll ask Atobe since we'll be graciously imposing upon his hospitality for the evening. But it should be okay :)

Aka-brat?

(ooc: strikes deleted)

[identity profile] demoneyesakaya.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
Buchou, tell Niou-sempai to stop calling me that!

I'll go, but do I need a tuxedo or something for it? D:

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
I will. I can't make him run laps now, but I'll try my hardest ^__^

Most likely, since Atobe's fielding our seats and we're eating at a posh italian restuarant beforehand. If you haven't got a tux, just buy one and I'll write you a cheque that amounts to it's cost.

(Before you deny, please remember that the prize money for every grand slam is around 22.6 million pounds. I've won around six grand slams and come second and third at several more.)

[identity profile] demoneyesakaya.livejournal.com 2013-06-16 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
But Buchou, that's your money. You won it fair and square...

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-16 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
And I want to use it on you. ^_^ It's not like I'm using it for much else except flight charges and coach costs.

[identity profile] demoneyesakaya.livejournal.com 2013-06-16 10:52 am (UTC)(link)
...Okay, fine. But I'll find some way to pay you back when I'm working as a vet!

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-16 03:14 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't need to worry about that at all, but if it makes you feel better. *shrugs*

[identity profile] hidden-tazer.livejournal.com 2013-06-12 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh. I ain't sorry at all ya lost. Like I told the brat, his winning got me some money.

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
...Is that so?

Well I assure you, next time, the win will be mine, Akutsu-san.

(ooc: Yukimura is very seriously debating what sort of revenge to take upon Akutsu. He's not happy about knowing that someone had the gall to benefit from his loss.)

[identity profile] hidden-tazer.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah yeah. That'll all depend on who's playin ya. Normally, yer a good bet, but not when the brat's involved.

[ooc: Akutsu says bring it, because he's an ass like that]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, we're even on the matches played, Akutsu. It's all on luck and physical fitness when it comes to our matches.

(ooc: Yukimura's thinking something along the lines of a stroke of financial misfortune. Or his motorcycle mysteriously breaking down and Akutsu needing to fork out money to pay for that.)

[identity profile] hidden-tazer.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
Just keep tellin yerself that.

[ooc: probably the first. Jin's bosozoku. He can fix it himself]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
...I wasn't aware you were such a fan of Echizen.

(ooc: Oh yes, Yukimura's happy to cause misfortune for others, oh yes he is. *evil face*)

[identity profile] hidden-tazer.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
I ain't. I just know which horse ta back to get paid the most. If it was anyone else, I'da bet on ya.

[identity profile] atoberex.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 08:21 am (UTC)(link)
Welcome back.

Shame about losing to the brat, though.

I have box seats to that concert, would you care to sit with me?

[ooc: Ooo, can we talk about our characters? PM me? or chat on AIM?]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 02:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahh, thank you, Atobe. Yes, quite a shame isn't it? Especially when he's a sore winner.

Well then, I'd be happy to, if you're offering. But would there be room for Yagyuu-kun and Niou-kun also?

(ooc: I'll PM you. My AIM is being more of a brat than Echizen. >:( It won't connect to anything)

[identity profile] atoberex.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed, I have found it to be so. He's a pouty loser, too.

Naturally, I have a large box. It enables me to invite guests like Kabaji who need more leg room. They are welcome to attend with you. Shall we do dinner first, do you think?

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Dinner would be lovely. Do you have a particular place in mind? I'll pay since you're graciously offering your box to us.

[identity profile] atoberex.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Having recently returned from France...how about Italian? Find out what Yagyuu and Niou might like and I will pick something based on that?

[ooc: Yeah, dream on if you think you can get Atobe to let anyone else pay! He knows how much money he has!]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
Italian sounds good. I don't think Yagyuu and Niou will have any problems, but I'll ask them ^_^

(ooc: Yukimura is a dreamer. And pretty scheming. He also feels bad, considering he's pretty darn rich too, from winning plenty of tournaments.)

[identity profile] atoberex.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 09:01 am (UTC)(link)
Please do. I have one in particular in mind that is only a few minutes from the venue.

[ooc: Until Yukimura owns his own jet, Atobe will continue to buy dinner ;-) ]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 03:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahh, how convenient. Yagyuu and Niou don't have a problem. And uhhh...it seems like it's turning into a proper Rikkai event ^^;. Could Akaya also come? He'll wear a tuxedo and everything.

(ooc: Yukimura feels bad for having so many people tag along. But he doubts that he'll be able to beat Atobe's paying skills anymore XD)

[identity profile] atoberex.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahn? Akaya, hm? I'll have to remember to bring my pet hair roller then. Certainly, do bring him as well.

[ooc: It's all good. Atobe may have fun poking at the Donation Fairy during dinner though! :D]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
...Pet hair roller. He's not quite that uncouth. now.

(ooc: Strikes firmly deleted. Atobe is welcome to poke fun, as long as Yukimura can politely insult him back.)

[identity profile] atoberex.livejournal.com 2013-06-15 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
He does however work at a veterinary clinic and owns a large dog.

[ooc: Oh, the Donation Fairy thing is a private in-joke that actually Akaya isn't aware that Atobe is in on. In that his co-workers call Akaya that because ever since he started working there, he has but to mention a need on his blog and a very large anonymous donation shows up. The MRI machine was my favorite. Three guesses as to who the donor is? :D]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-15 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
That's true.

(ooc: Oh. Okay XD, that makes a lot more sense. Aww, Atobe has a soft spot for Akaya.)

[identity profile] atoberex.livejournal.com 2013-06-16 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
(ooc: Atobe prefers to think he has a soft spot for animals...but yeah. :D)

[identity profile] pontanooujisama.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 09:04 am (UTC)(link)
Mada mada dane.

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-13 02:43 pm (UTC)(link)
...you remember U17 and how that was deemed the phrase that people would least like to hear? That applies now, as well.

[identity profile] pontanooujisama.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
Doesn't make it less true, though.

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-14 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Even if it's true, the tactful thing is to not mention it. The adult thing.

(ooc: Yukimura would really like to kill Echizen now. He would miss the challenge in tennis, but he really wouldn't miss the attitude.)
Edited 2013-06-14 04:31 (UTC)

[identity profile] pontanooujisama.livejournal.com 2013-06-15 12:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Would you rather me lie, Yukimura-san? Not telling is almost as bad as lying, you know.

_
[OOC: He's just a brat to those who react to his brattiness, he says. d:D]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-15 04:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, you're of the belief that omission is lying? I've always thought that omission is usually for the greater good. Most of the time, people simply don't want to know. Ignorance is bliss, after all.

(ooc: Yukimura reacts. And he reacts with clenching of fists and mental images of strangling Echizen. XD I so want to do a log between the two of them after Wimbledon's done.)

[identity profile] pontanooujisama.livejournal.com 2013-06-15 08:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, isn't it? Okay. I will stop saying I won the French Open. No bliss for you, though, because you know.

_
[OOC: We should. \o/ I rather like Yukimura beating Echizen in Wimbledon so we, I mean, he can antagonise Echizen over dinner. >D]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-15 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Personally, I believe not. But that's just the firm opinion of everyone at Rikkaidai. If everyone was forced to tell the truth and not omit anything, we'd hear an awful lot that we wouldn't want to about their sex lives.
That's all I ask for.

(ooc: Yessssss. I also like the idea of Yukimura winning and taking Echizen to a really, really fancy restaurant with a billion etiquette rules. Yay for barely hidden tempers!)

[identity profile] pontanooujisama.livejournal.com 2013-06-15 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Whatever.

_
[OOC: Exactly. \o/ Plus points if Echizen is forced to wear a suit. XD Maybe we could up the ante and also have the loser follow everything the winner says. XD]

[identity profile] tennis-no-ko.livejournal.com 2013-06-15 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Glad we can agree on something.

(ooc: Totally. Yukimura's already managed to force Akaya into a suit. He'll find Echizen slightly more challenging, but he'll still be able to do it. And huh. That sounds fun. Not the sort of bet that sensible real life me would ever make, but these two arrogant boys? Heck yes.)

[identity profile] pontanooujisama.livejournal.com 2013-06-16 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
TMI, okay? Not really but like I said, whatever.

_
[OOC: Strikes deleted. Heck, they've already managed to make him wear a pink, frilly dress in pairpuri; it shouldn't be too hard to make him wear a suit. XD Doesn't mean he'll like it, though. d:|]
