You know what's embarrassing? Losing a game to an unseeded player because of hiccups. Hiccups.

I was at 6-0, 6-0, 5-0, then I get a sudden case of hiccups then spasm my entire body and I miss all the shots. Luckily I was able to get my act back together for the last game, but 6-1. Against an unseeded player. And then I hiccuped all the way through the interviews as well.

OTL

Hiccups? I'm sorry to hear that, Seiichi.

Hiccups. It's just a game...but it's still irritating. So close to perfection, yet so far.

No one is perfect, Seiichi.

Well, it's good to try, nevertheless.

...I probably shouldn't laugh but you're making it sound cute.

But...but...a game. Against an unseeded player.

Over hiccups. I'm terribly biased and think that's adorable.

But the most important thing here, is that you won the set. That counts for something, right?

*sigh* It probably is, isn't it? To me, though, it's just irritating.

Yeah. I guess. I'm just irritated that I didn't get a full 6-0 round.

You let your guard down, bro.

It was actually really funny.

...right. Yes.

And was it? I'm pretty sure it must have been to anyone else, but to me it was just irritating.

It was nature giving you a handicap.

Thank you very much, Kaidoh-kun. And I think many people with the sort of tennis experience that we had in our schools years could beat some of the players here.

Seiichi, at least you are still playing tennis. Losing 1 game is nothing, really.

I suppose you're right. It just irks me that I lost because of something trivial.

Don't worry about it, it was the cutest thing. Though I see how it would have been annoying.

Just think of the thrill you gave that poor unseeded player. Not to mention your popularity points went sky high. Apparently the fans like seeing that you're actually human, ahn?

Mmm, there are highlights to it, I suppose. I just found it annoying, Giving other people false hope makes me leery.

I'm sure he was well aware that he was simply the recipient of some odd luck. If he had not pressed his advantage and won that game...now that would have been quite stupid of him. I'm sure he will evaluate his life choices now and hopefully come back next tournament better than ever. A taste of victory can do amazing things to one's drive.

Another cute count. I might have to make a tally at this rate Thanks, Niou. I'm feeling better now. But yes, I suppose it was 'cute'.
